The Morandalorians won each of the three days to capture the crown at the first ever Pinehurst event. After COVID-19 forced the cancellation of the 2020 Myrtle Mayhem, the event was rescheduled for Pinehurst in September.
Highlights:
- The house provided 12 beds, a deck, a nice back yard, a hot tub, a game room, and was walking distance to Maxie’s, a breakfast spot, and the brewery.
- Hardiman and Dinora each went 3-0, including two sweeps.
- Krempl took a team loss for the first time. He’s now 5-1 in Mayhem events.
- Evans won his first ever Long Drive contest.
- Dwyer and Sacks both finally broke through to win the Cornhole Championship.
- Chicklo won the Points Champion contest (for match points won, birdies/eagles, sweeps, etc.)
- Weapons of Grass Destruction tied Six Corpses Under an Alabama Porch (2010) for the worst team name ever.
- Vegas’s distant cousin “Atlantic City” stepped in to provide pre-tournament odds and predictions.
