The Breakfast Ballers won the 2023 Pinehurst Pandemonium in dominant fashion over the Claret Thugs, 45-18. The Ballers won 7 of the 9 matches, with 4 sweeps.
Highlights:
- Dwyer may or may not have crushed a flower pot near the front porch of the rental house by hitting it with his truck.
- On hole 14 at 7 Lakes on Saturday, the foursome of Dinora, Dwyer, Evans, & Kelleher hit 4 tee shots and then 4 mulligans into the water. Both teams dropped at 120 yards away and both parred the hole by getting up and down.
- Package made a downhill 10 footer to close out the match at 7 Lakes. He and Krempl won the final 3 holes of both the front and the back to flip the match and secure a sweep.
- McCann rolled in a 12 footer for birdie on 18 at Talamore to secure the sweep.
- Rick’s approach shot on 18 at Talamore ended up on the rooftop patio where a waitress threw it down to him.
- Package made a natural eagle on hole 4 at Talamore.
- Sacks has his second “event winning streak”, being on the winning team for both 2023 events. Previously he won in 2008 & 2009 before losing 10 straight.
- Dinora’s 8-event winning streak was ended. Krempl started his Mayhem career winning 5 straight events. He has now lost his last six.
